Searching through the registry is tedious, it is easier to run a “Find” when using regedit, look for” AV.exe” and delete those keys. Use F3 to “Find again”. Works much faster and finds other keys not mentioned above.

Remember to backup the registry first.

I used MalwareBytes first but it still left some keys that were mentioned here.

yeah that is what worked fine for me and also removed the damned fake update that kept on popping up after i was stupid woodchuck to download the main scam
