Step 6: save the resulted file as “exefix.reg” (no quotes) at the Desktop. When saving, please choose All Files at the “Save As” drop-down list. Open “exefix.reg” file (on your Desktop) and press “Yes”. After that you can download Spyware Doctor and other legitimate anti-spyware applications.

Hello Andrew, I can start the laptop in safe mode with networking but I cannot access the internet to download the programs. I tried saving to a zip drive and still am unable to download the software…Any advice?
I think the thing that you all didnt know to do was to use a program called TDSS before running Malwarebytes.. I have been wrestling with this virus on my desktop for 2 days and I finally think I got it cleaned off.. Just follow the instructions on this link and you should be able to remove it.. Also, sometimes Malwarebytes freezes so do the quick scan and make sure u have updated it first.. Good luck!
I can’t seem start the laptop in safe mode nor starting the windows normally, it reboots and reboots after the blue screen appear. Help please.

I had the same problem and downloaded spyware doctor to another PC and then copied it with pendrive into the sick laptop – now it is cured) so am happy coz I love my lappy
Somehow paladin antivirus got on my computer. Now, I’ve tried about 5 different ways of getting rid of it. I tried removing it from my program files. I tried Spyware Doctor. I tried Mbam. I tried Smitfraudfix. And a couple others that I don’t need to bother mentioning. I am computer literate but not a computer guru. The problem is when I try to start the fixers it doesn’t. I think the scareware is shutting down the known fixes. I’m afraid to access my email or instant messenger programs. I’m afraid to type any passwords in my computer. I think it’s also preventing me from doing a system restore. It wont even allow me to run the fixers in safe mode. Please help. I would appreciate it if you responded in the comments here since as I said I am afraid to type in my password for my email.
